We need your help! Making the Cherokee Challenge Run happen takes a lot of people. Are you ready to be a part of impacting youth, plus watch some amazing athletes run an amazing obstacle course? Contact us to join our volunteer team. There will be a day of training one week before the event, then join us to help us set up, hand out water, keep things safe, and have an awesome time.
Volunteers will be assigned to different obstacles or jobs, watching for safety issues and anyone needing help. You might be assigned to a water table where you will be filling cups with water, getting them ready for runners as they go by. Volunteers will also help pass out finisher medals and t-shirts at the end of the race. Volunteers will also arrive a little early to help us set up and make sure everything is good to go. Those who give of their time to help Cherokee Challenge happen smoothly will get a free event t-shirt, free morning snacks, free lunch, and community service approval if needed. We ask that volunteers be 14 years or older, with 14-16 year old volunteers being accompanied by a parent or other chaperone who is over 18 and also volunteering.
Want to volunteer, but also wanting to run the race? That's fine. We will work things out so your volunteer shift doesn't hinder your race time.
